The Challenge
Processing flexible packaging films efficiently can be challenging, particularly when trying to balance equipment investment costs with the strict quality requirements for final pelletizing. The client in Indonesia needed a highly cost-effective, space-efficient solution that could thoroughly clean waste PP/PE packaging films while ensuring the final scraps were dry enough for immediate reuse.

Streamlined Washing Design: We engineered a simplified but highly effective washing line layout. This compact configuration minimizes energy consumption, reduces maintenance costs, and simplifies daily operation, all while strictly ensuring premium cleanliness and quality of the final film scraps.

Advanced Squeezing Technology: The most critical step in film recycling is dewatering. At the end of the washing line, we integrated a heavy-duty Plastic Film Squeezing Machine. Instead of relying on traditional, energy-intensive thermal drying, this machine uses powerful mechanical extrusion to aggressively wring out water and densify the light film scraps.
The Results

Ultra-Low Moisture Content: The implementation of the squeezing machine successfully drives the final moisture content of the PP/PE scraps down to less than 3%. This exceptional drying performance perfectly preps the material for direct extrusion and pelletizing.

High ROI: By utilizing a streamlined design paired with high-performance dewatering technology, the client achieved reliable 1 T/H production with excellent final material quality and significantly lowered operational costs.
