The Challenge
Recycling agricultural films (PP/PE) in regions like Xinjiang presents a unique challenge due to severe contamination from sand, soil, and agricultural debris. The client required a robust washing line capable of handling tough, highly contaminated plastics while effectively removing abrasive materials without slowing down the overall production speed.
Our Customized Solution
To address the heavy sand contamination and maximize processing throughput, we engineered a highly efficient, multi-stage crushing and washing system:

Pre-Treatment Sand Removal: Before entering the main washing phase, the raw film is processed through a heavy-duty Trommel Screen. This crucial first step successfully separates the vast majority of sand and loose dirt, protecting downstream machinery from excessive wear and tear.

Optimized Size Reduction: We integrated a Horizontal Cutter Machine working in tandem with a Strong Crusher. This powerful combined cutting system significantly accelerates material breakdown and flow, effectively boosting the overall capacity of the washing line to an impressive 2 to 3 tons per hour.

Advanced Washing Configuration: To guarantee premium cleanliness, the washing section utilizes a specialized combination of two distinct types of Friction Washers paired with a high-volume Floating Washing Tank. This multi-layered friction and rinsing approach ensures aggressive contaminant removal.
The Results

Enhanced Throughput: The synergistic design of the primary cutting and crushing units pushed the line’s processing capacity well beyond the baseline, ensuring a smooth and highly efficient output of up to 3 T/H.

Superior Material Quality: Thanks to the pre-washing trommel and the dual friction washing system, the final PP/PE flakes are exceptionally clean, free from abrasive sand, and perfectly prepped for high-grade pelletizing.
